☀️ Natural Light Areas

The back corner zone provides natural daylight exposure through windows, reducing eye strain and creating a more comfortable study environment.

💡 Adjustable Lighting Spaces

Study rooms and the library classroom feature dimmable and controllable lighting fixtures, allowing users to customize brightness levels to their comfort.

🔇 Enhanced Visual/Audio Privacy

Enclosed study rooms provide enhanced privacy with doors and partitions for reduced distractions. While not fully soundproof, these spaces offer significantly lower noise levels.

Ideal for: Video calls, focused work requiring minimal distractions, small group discussions, sensory-sensitive individuals.

🤫 Quiet Study Areas

All carrels throughout the library and the study rooms are designated as quiet zones for silent, focused work.

Locations: Study carrels in all areas (west, northwest, north, northeast, east, southeast), plus all four study rooms when used for individual work.

Sensory-supportive resources including fidget toys and meditation cards are available in study rooms.

👥 Collaborative Spaces

Multiple zones designed for group work and discussion, featuring flexible furniture arrangements and conversation-friendly atmospheres.

Community spaces feature soft, flexible furnishings ideal for bringing classes into a relaxed setting.

📅 Bookable Spaces

Reserve study rooms in advance through our online booking system to guarantee your preferred time slot.

How to book: Use the LibCal room booking system accessible from the library homepage. Rooms can be reserved up to 2 weeks in advance.

Available rooms: Four study rooms located along the top of the library floor plan.
