Welcome to the Johnson & Wales Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) program. We are dedicated to providing a rigorous, engaging, and best-practice-based teacher preparation program designed to support each student in becoming a highly skilled, student-focused educator. Our cohort-based program provides opportunities to grow and learn alongside a diverse group of passionate individuals, and our personalized advisement and practitioner faculty ensure opportunities to thrive, both in the university classroom as well as K-12 classrooms or, for our culinary/baking students, university classroom and labs.
