Scholarship opportunities for Animal Science majors:

• America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarships: Open to students in fields related to agriculture. Students must supply two endorsements from local farmers.
• Certified Angus Beef Colvin Scholarship Fund: Opens in the spring. Any student studying agriculture or a related field is eligible. Suggested majors are: Animal Science, Business, Communications, Economics, Marketing, or Meat Science.
• Fastweb has a list of scholarships for women in STEM fields. Check back for updated deadlines.
• The Lariat STEM Scholar Program: Opens in January. Undergraduates pursuing certain STEM disciplines who come from rural areas (eligible ZIP codes available on website; this includes all states) and low-income families are eligible.
• MPower Women in STEM Scholarship: Closes in January. Open to women who are either DACA or international students pursuing STEM degrees.
