Scholarship opportunities for Biology majors:

• Fastweb has a list of scholarships for biology students. Check back for updated deadlines.
• Fastweb has a list of scholarships for women in STEM fields. Check back for updated deadlines.
• The Lariat STEM Scholar Program: Opens in January. Undergraduates pursuing certain STEM disciplines who come from rural areas (eligible ZIP codes available on website; this includes all states) and low-income families are eligible.
• MPower Women in STEM Scholarship: Closes in January. Open to women who are either DACA or international students pursuing STEM degrees.
• National Garden Club Scholarship: Due February 1. Open to citizens and permanent residents of the U.S. "planning a career related to gardening, landscape design, environmental issues, floral design or horticulture."
• NIH Undergrad Scholarship Program: For "students committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science research." Provides and requires a paid summer internship and one year commitment to working for the NIH.
• Thermo Fisher Scientific Antibody Scholarship: Opens in January. Open to students in biology or related life science fields.
