Scenario: You have to write a short paper for an ENG 1024 class on the topic of how meditation and yoga reduce stress and impact academic success for college students. You've found a source, but you're not sure if it's credible.  Your professor has asked that you find 2-3 academic sources in credible scholarly journals.

Using the ABCD criteria on your Google Doc, work with your team to score the source you are assigned. Give your source a numerical score from 1 (unreliable) to 10 (credible) for each criteria and add in comments for share-out on this Google Doc

Consider: Can a source be credible, without being peer-reviewed? Who counts as an "authority" on a topic? Can a source be credible if focused on a specific aspect of a topic? Is your source credible?

Pro-Tip: Each team evaluates ONE of the following sources and adds in comments for share-out on this Google Doc

Source 1

Source 2

Source 3

Source 4
