- Academic Search Complete (EBSCO) This link opens in a new window
- A great place to start for most topics
- Mostly full-text articles from scholarly peer-reviewed journals, trade journals, popular magazines, and newspapers
- If full-text is not available, click link to Check for Full Text (Providence) to connect to Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request form
- IBISWorld This link opens in a new window
- Industry research for over 700 U.S. industries, hard-to-find U.S. "specialized industries", and some state-level industry research
- Updated reports: Global-wide industries and industries in China
- Industry reports include "Key Statistics," "Key Ratios," and supply-chain overviews

- Fashion and expert trend forecasting content
- Create a free account with your JWU email (required) and renew it every 90 days to access
- If your account is current, visit wgsn.com and log in with your JWU email address (as your username) & password
EBSCO Databases: Search Tips
Use Academic Search for articles about fashion and retail industry trends, business and marketing topics, and about fashion and retail companies making news.
- Enter in your basic search terms, for example "Texting while Driving"
- Limit to Full Text, so you can read articles online
- Check Scholarly/Peer Reviewed for academic articles
- Scroll down the first page of articles, and click on the most interesting one
- Click on one of the Subject Terms (they're hyperlinked) and see where it takes you!
- Don't forget to click the Cite button on the right hand side, scroll to MLA or whatever citation style you are using and copy and paste!
