Using the Database handout, work with your team to evaluate the database you've been assigned to teach your classmates how to find information for the case study.

Is your database useful for the case study?

Pro-Tip: Each team evaluates ONE of the following databases:

Google Doc

Group 1 WGSN

Create a free account and then choose "fashion" tab at the top. On the right hand side, enter search term in the search bar, by clicking the magnifying glass. Choose one of the articles to share out with your classmates. Enter your thoughts on the Google doc.

Group 2 Business Source Complete

  • On the upper right side, click "More"
  • Click "Company Profile"
  • Enter name of company
  • Search for "Marketline Report"

Group 3 IbisWorld

  • Pro tip: search Google for the industry NAICS Code
  • For industry information and the "competitive landscape".
  • Search for "NAICS code" above. Notice all the info under different tabs.

Group 4 RKMA Handbooks

  • Search for "Retail Business Market for 2020-2021"
