JSTOR

  • Find articles about literature, media and communication, history, American studies, etc. 
  •  For access to content that JWU subscribes to

    • please select "Advanced Search" from JSTOR's homepage

    • then select "Content I can access" from the "Select an access type" drop down menu.

Academic Search Complete

  • Find articles in ethnic & multicultural studies, law, history, literature, psychology and sociology etc.  

  • Search by using key words (the most important words of your research question, such as "race and ethnicity" AND "history")

Did you know that your required reading The Making of Black Lives Matter: A Brief History, by Christopher J. Lebron, is available to borrow from the library?

It is available through on course reserve. This means that you can:
  • Borrow it for two hours at a time
  • In the library
  • You can scan and print chapters or email them to yourself

 

Just come in to the library (2nd floor of the Yena Center)
  • go to the service desk 
  • let us know what course the book is for, along with the professor's name
